PgMP® Program Management Professional Preparation
PMI's senior credential for professionals who lead programs — multiple related projects aligned to organizational strategy — not single projects. A rare, high-value distinction.

Programme overview
The PgMP® certifies something the PMP® does not: the ability to manage a program — a group of related projects coordinated to deliver benefits no single project could achieve alone. It's built for senior leaders, and PMI's process reflects that seniority: beyond the exam, there's a rigorous application and a panel review of your program-management experience. This programme prepares you for all of it, not just the written test.

Eligibility
Set by the awarding body, not by Paraklete
PMI requires a combination of education, project management experience and program management experience, accumulated within the last 15 years, across three eligibility sets depending on your education level. Program-management experience thresholds are substantial.
Process note: PgMP involves a multi-stage evaluation — application, PMI panel review, then examination — so plan for a longer timeline than PMP.
Programme investment
Programme investment is determined following eligibility review and your chosen delivery format. Admitted applicants receive a written offer detailing Paraklete fees, applicable third-party charges (PMI exam fees, PMI membership if chosen), payment milestones and exclusions before committing. Examination fees are paid separately to the awarding body and vary by membership status and region.

Beyond Certification
Turn new skills into visibility and practice
Turn new skills into visibility, practice and opportunity readiness. Eligible Paraklete learners and alumni may continue through mentoring, professional visibility, implementation projects and selected opportunity pathways.
Frequently asked questions
How is PgMP different from PMP?
PMP certifies single-project delivery; PgMP certifies managing multiple related projects as a coordinated program aligned to strategy. PgMP requires more experience and a panel review.
Do I need a PMP first?
No — PMP is not a prerequisite for PgMP, though most PgMP candidates are experienced project leaders. The Advisor Clarity Call maps your route.
Why does this take longer than a PMP prep course?
Because PgMP includes a panel review of your experience narratives in addition to the exam. We prepare you for both stages.
Is passing guaranteed?
No — same policy as every programme.
