AI initiatives fail for management reasons far more often than technical ones: unclear business cases, unready data, absent governance and no path to operationalization. The PMI-CPMAI™ is PMI's credential for professionals who manage AI work, and PMI sets the route to it — including completion of the official PMI-CPMAI Exam Prep Course.
Paraklete's role here is supplementary. We coach candidates through the management disciplines the credential assesses, applied to their own initiatives, and we support the application process. This is not the official required course, and completing our coaching does not satisfy PMI's course requirement.
Expected experience or prerequisites
PMI sets the requirements. Current PMI guidance requires candidates to be at least 18 years old and to complete PMI's official PMI-CPMAI Exam Prep Course; no prior AI experience and no coding are required. That official course is provided by PMI and is not included in Paraklete's supplementary coaching.

Does this include the official PMI-CPMAI Exam Prep Course?
No. The official PMI-CPMAI Exam Prep Course is required by PMI and is provided by PMI. It is not represented as included here until it is confirmed in your written offer and supported by current authorization. The official requirement remains controlled by PMI.
So what exactly does Paraklete provide?
Supplementary coaching: working sessions on framing AI initiatives, data readiness, governance and adoption applied to your own work, plus application support and mentoring. It complements PMI's required course; it does not replace it.
Do I need to know how to code or build AI models?
No. The credential is about managing AI work — scoping, governance, data readiness, outcomes — not building models. No coding required.
Do I need prior AI experience?
No — PMI's published requirements are that you are 18 or over and complete its official exam prep course. The credential is designed for professionals new to AI projects as well as those already leading them.
Is passing guaranteed?
No — same policy as every programme.
