Programme overview
PMOs are judged on value, not paperwork — and the PMI-PMOCP™ certifies exactly that: the ability to align a PMO with organizational strategy and prove its contribution. PMI launched this credential in 2026 as the successor to the PMO Global Alliance's PMO-CP, bringing PMO certification into the core PMI family. This programme prepares PMO practitioners and leaders for the current examination.

Eligibility
Set by the awarding body, not by Paraklete
Current PMI requirements include a secondary degree plus either project-related experience within a recent window or an active PMP® in good standing, along with formal PMO education hours.
Programme investment
Programme investment is determined following eligibility review and your chosen delivery format. Admitted applicants receive a written offer detailing Paraklete fees, applicable third-party charges (PMI exam fees, PMI membership if chosen), payment milestones and exclusions before committing. Examination fees are paid separately to the awarding body and vary by membership status and region.

Is this the same as the old PMO-CP?
PMI-PMOCP™ is PMI's successor to the PMO Global Alliance's PMO-CP credential, now administered within PMI's certification family.
Do I need a PMP first?
No — an active PMP is one qualifying route, but documented project-related experience is an alternative path. The Advisor Clarity Call confirms which applies to you.
Is passing guaranteed?
No — same policy as every programme.
